Dangerous Mood Band From Winchester Wins Staff Pick for Hogging Up Festival

Band Bio: We are pleased to announce Dangerous Mood as our Staff Pick. This amazing young duo comprised of Trevor Davis (guitar and vocals) and Jordan McWhorter (vocals and keyboard) and they will win any crowd over. Both live in Winchester, Virginia and are in the process of recording their first CD. Their original music consists of a soulsy-blues folk all it’s own and for this festival Dangerous Mood will be also bringing some of their favorite Pasty Cline and Alison Kraus covers. History:

Trevor and Jordan met in the summer of 2011 in Frederick,MD. They were original members of the band Strictly Debonaire. Members of the band went their separate ways but Trevor and Jordan’s love for music brought them to the ostensible live music capital: Austin, TX. They spent valuable time in Austin writing music and getting inspiration from the many musicians in this blues dominated industry that have started to define Austin’s music scene.

Dangerous Mood has also gigged in southwest Florida, gaining more exposure and overwhelming support from new fans and family. Their experience in Florida encouraged them to keep going and they are now in Winchester,VA. In a location that is just a few hours from Washington, D.C., NYC, and Philly, they hope to gain more fans and touch more lives with their music.Dangerous Mood will embark on their first full-length east coast tour in the Spring of 2013.
