Burnt Orange Band Rocks the BBQ Awards : STAR POWER
We’re happy to have Larry and the boys from Burnt Orange Band rocking the BBQ awards this year on Saturday night both during, and after! In other words, they will be electrifying the award ceremony. If you haven’t heard them, you can listen to them here. In an unprecedented move, Larry and the boys feel it’s only right to rock the house not only after the ceremony, but DURING.
In most cases, the competitors are tired, having been up cooking all night, but now with some Burnt Orange Band rifts, they may be able to stay awake during the ceremony and feel like a star walking on that stage. Larry and the boys attitude it to being neighborly. After all, Culpepper is about 90 minutes away. In Virginia, that’s nothing. “We’re going to make them feel like rock stars!” Wow! Star power! By the way, like them on Facebook!
Charlottesville Virginia Things to Do Hogging Up Festival
Live in Charlottesville and looking for something to do?
Come on up to Hogging Up! You are, by all accounts, only about two hours away. What’s better than to come to Clear Brook for the day and enjoy the Hogging Up BBQ Festival, and have fun! Where do people come from the Hogging Up BBQ Festival? We had a lot of folks from the panhandle area last year, lots from West Virginia. Folks came from Frederick, Maryland or DC. Some from Gettysburg, PA and parts beyond. Although mostly we had regional visitors, we were happy to meet a couple came from as far as Boston.
This year we hope to see other areas in Virginia, as far down 81 as Woodstock, Harrionsburg and off 64 like Charlottesville. Our pal over at Charlottesville Area Real Estate is spreading the word and we thank him!
Live in North Carolina? No problems, we have a partner hotel called the Marriott and you can spend a day driving up to Virginia, enjoying the look of Virginia’s beautiful wineries, see some of the best Virginia historic homes, beautiful farms, and great scenery as you make your way to Hogging Up!
Tell you Friends!

Free Passes Dropping in West Virginia to Winchester Virginia Festival @CircaBlueBand
Exciting News! Circa Blue, one of our FAVORITE bands will be dropping some free admission passes in and around their home town of West Virginia. These will be one day free admission passes that will make you want to come out and see the action! Now our festival is a three day event, so this is a great way to come and check out the action.
Nothing like a good “hide and seek” game huh? So just where can you get these? I bet if you check out their official CIRCA BLUE schedule and follow them around, they may just give you some. Maybe check your local grocery store, bathroom in your favorite restaurant and find out where they are hiding! Something tells me Steve Harris likes to eat BBQ, so maybe check your local BBQ places, too.
These should be somewhere in and around Martinsburg!
If you work in West Virginia, and your company or boss hasn’t gotten their hands on free passes, then you tell them they need to get in touch with us. A small sponsorship gets them free passes to give to their favorite employees—people like YOU!
