Let’s give a Big Hogging Up Welcome to Mike and Michelle Lackey, Pitmasters of Hog-it-Up BBQ Team out of Bluemont, Virginia. They were our 1st place dessert winners last year, and for 2014 they are back with a vengeance. Additionally, they are a pit stop on our Saturday BBQ Tour, and a special tour stop for our VIPS (Find out about VIP’s here).

Our Friday night events have been finalized. For only $5 you can see Dangerous Mood’s debut at the Frederick County Fairgrounds and see Circa Blue rock the house not once but twice..enjoy tasty barbecue vendors crafters, business vendors and a family fun zone. Grab a beer and hear Dangerous Mood close out the night. All the while smelling the smoke from the KCBS competitors oh yeah, life is good..

A portion of the gate helps support the local church and Clear Brook Volunteer Fire Dept. A portion of barbecue food profits go to raising money for CnacerCare.org. The local exchange club profits from all libations. We hope the community will step up and have fun while we bring people from many states into the wonderful town of Winchester.
