They are back to defend their title of “Grand Champion” of Hogging Up.  Pitmaster Dan Hixon and team have a long list of GC’s, in fact for 2012 they were the KCBS Team of the Year.  You may  have seen them on Pitmasters; these guys take BBQ seriously. Welcome Texas Ribs & BBQ Danny Sagar Maryland Legend

If you live anywhere near the Eastern Part of Maryland, and love good barbecue, then you’ll know who the Sagars are. If not here’s an article. They have a restaurant in La Plata and run a family BBQ restaurant (and use dry rub, a Maryland tradition!) .  We’re happy to see another Maryland team enter in!
